Transient Souls

by | Mar 11, 2025 | Poem

Some come, like whispers in the wind,

Leaving footprints that soon fade within.

Their presence, a fleeting, shining light,

Illuminates our path, through darkest night.

With gentle touch, they guide us along,

Helping us find strength, where we’d gone wrong.

Their words, a balm, that soothes the soul,

Giving us courage, to make our heart whole.

But like the seasons, they come and go,

Leaving us with memories, and a glow.

Their purpose served, they vanish from sight,

Leaving us to ponder, on the beauty of their light.

We’re left to wonder, if they were real,

Or just a dream, that our hearts did feel.

But one thing’s certain, their impact remains,

A lasting legacy, that forever sustains.

So let’s cherish the time, we had with them near,

And hold dear the lessons, they taught us to hear.

For though they may be gone, their memory stays,

A reminder of the love, that they brought our way.
