A Trance In Itself

From Purvanchal to the Northeast of our sovereign state, lies the most alluring region and Himachal Pradesh tops the list by standing tall with its high mountain ranges. Himachal which means the “Adobe of snow” certainly does justice to the visual delight one gets, being present there. The resort town in the Northern region on Himachal, named Manali is a treat in itself. Beas nadi with its meandering, appeals every tourist to at least feel the freshness that it possesses. For those who enjoy skiing and allied sports such as paragliding, river rafting, rock climbing, and rappelling, Solang Valley and Parvati Valley are your hubs.
I was 14 years when I had the privilege of being a part of the excursion that my school had organised. Coming from a central government school, I had to pay Rs 120/- for the entire tour, covering all regions from Delhi, Haryana, Himachal and Agra. Little did I know back then, that Manali would leave its imprints in my mind forever. Freshness is something that resides not only in the fruits there but also in the people there. Serenity belongs to each and every person there. If Hustle-free life is all you are looking for, Manali is the place you should settle in. Peace-seeking, hardworking and Pahadi speaking people make your journey a bliss. Buddhism is one of the very commonly found religions there. Himalaya Nyingmapa Buddhist Temple with it’s vibrant and colourful culture adds life to the town. It is ironic to see Hidimba Devi, who is said to belong to a rakshasa family, turned out to be a goddess in the Pine and the fern forests of this enigmatic region.
We keep talking and mentioning of places abroad, without realising that the Kohinoor still belongs to us. Travelling is a trance in itself, explore the unexplored and let nature touch you. Trust me, it will make you speechless. #travelbanjara
